The History of India

Namaskaar,

This is to tell the people of India that the history they read is wrong.

There is so much in it that has been omitted that must be told, missed that must be included and a lot that is reported wrong.

I would like to include some reasons why i am saying so:

1.Why do we read history?

The only answer I suppose is to learn from it rather than anything else. It is not the story of what that is dead or that is not present. Or simply a story of past tought or known just for the sake of it.

2. Is History Important?

Ans: Yes. Many of our current problems are rooted in history, which can not be solved without good understanding of it.We are a nation because historically we claim we are(quite truly).

And a society that forgets its history has no future. And it is said history repeats itself I will be bad if it repeats for India. The only way i can see how to not let history repeat itself is by knowing it well and the mistakes we did in the past which lead to our civilistion being a slave for more than a thousand years.

Besides it is well known that people have used history to motivate people and societies to achieve new and great hights. That motivating power of history can not be used unless it is re written in India atleast for the anxient and mideveal times.

For that sake even modern times.

Division of India is a very recent phenomenon a very gruesome episode in the history of our nation and it I feel we as a society have forgot what happened then. We always talk about Independence but tell me how many times you have found people also telling about the partition of India in the very period which came as a cost of Independence.

Think!!!!
